Four athletes with a passion for water sports embark on a two-week journey around the Mediterranean Sea aboard a renovated 1984 school bus.
Driven by the quest for the ultimate conditions, they navigate through picturesque coastlines, forging deep connections with one another along the way. Through encounters with locals, moments of reflection and meaningful conversations, the athletes confront their preconceptions about the Mediterranean and redefine their relationship with the vast expanse of water they once likened to a mere lake. "Le Grand Lac" invites viewers to join these adventurers on a voyage celebrating the spirit of exploration and the transformative power of the sea.
