Infos & Characteristics
The Magma boots are made for cold and windy winter days.
Their Magma+ fleece acts both as an insulator and heat generator, and its fast-drying time prevents bad smells.
Most of us delay the “boots time” as much as possible: We feel like we lose the board feeling, we’re less precise, our feet slide inside… Many reasons that pushed us to design our own range.
We offer boots for those who don’t like boots: They keep you warm and comfy, but they are made to be forgotten once in the water while still offering great foot support.

Magma Plus
Our MAGMA material is one of the warmest on the market. Besides, it is highly stretchable, which brings an unmatched freedom of movement to the suits.
Its plush loops work as effective insulators and heat generators while providing a smooth and soft feeling that makes the suit incredibly comfortable. It also dries extremely fast.
Resist the coldest winter sessions and keep your feet warm.
Round toe
There is no toe separation. This brings better comfort and more warmth as the toes are all together.
Sealing prints
The sealing print around the shin brings a better grip between the wetsuit and the boot. Coupled with the wetsuit SEALING PRINT, it prevents the wetsuit’s leg from rolling up.
Foot support
Foot support is essential to get a comfortable and performing neoprene boot. MANERA boots feature “SIDEWALLS” on each side of the foot to maintain it. We also use a stiffer neoprene around the front of the foot in order to hold the boot structure.
Without these features the foot would be able to slide or the boot would deform, which would lead the user to lose his balance, lack precision or even get hurt.
Direct drive
MANERA soles are super thin in order to keep a direct and precise contact between the foot and the board. The micro-spikes on the sole provide a perfect grip on wax or on a pad.

Aqua glue
The glue that binds the jersey fabrics to the internal neoprene foam is now water-based instead of solvent-based.
This removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), thus providing a healthier working environment for employees and a cleaner wetsuit against your skin.
Dope Dyed Yarn
Dyeing the fabric consumes a lot of water, so the threads that make up our fabrics are dyed before being woven. This considerably reduces water usage while reducing energy consumption and water pollution.
For other colors, SHEICO has invested in a new generation of dyeing machines which consume 60% less water.

Solar energy
The energy that our suppliers use is a crucial part of a brand’s carbon emissions. Having an eco-design is useless if your product is made using non-renewable energy.
Therefore, SHEICO factories are equipped with solar panels to limit the use of fossil fuels, generating around 6,038,486kWh per year.
Compostable/biodegradable packaging
We must protect our wetsuits from any contact with humidity or the sun so that they preserve their qualities when they arrive in the shop. Shipping wetsuits without a proper protection could cause irreparable damages to the neoprene.
Consequently, we have been working to find the best alternative to classic plastic polybags:
- A recyclable "pizza box" made of 70% recycled cardboard.
- A compostable/recyclable bioplastic bag (PLA).
- Compostable/recyclable bioplastic (PLA) anti-crease tubes.
